hope you all are doing well on your Christian walk. remember to do your bible study each day, pray and encourage one another. look for ways that God can use you. you are uniquely situated to share Christ with others. you are all awesome and i admire each of you for how you allow Christ to work in your lives. see ya' sunday!

down from the mountain

well, you're home and school starts next week so, where do you go from here? i was reminded of a story in the bible before christ's crucifixion. three of the disciples, peter, james and john, went up the mountain with jesus and while they were there jesus was transfigured ( which means that his heavenly glory appeared) and moses and elijah appeared. peter said, " i have a great idea, let's build three shrines and stay here!" then a voice from heaven said, "this is my son, listen to him!" good advice : ) jesus told them that they couldn't stay there, basically they had work to do! you know what happened when he and the disciples came down off the mountain? jesus healed a young boy!

as much as we wish we could have stayed at m-fuge jesus has work for us to do! what does he have for you to do? we got rid of a stumbling block tonight at youth bible study. be in much prayer about what he wants you to do. remember that moses said yes to god and he used him in such a mighty way! god uses ordinary people to do extraordinary things!

you've been to the mountaintop now it's time to get to work!!

Christmas

I haven't had a chance to thank you all for helping with the Christmas program. We really couldn't do this without you all. I am so glad to see you all growing in your Christian walk. We'll see you Sunday!

Halloween Trunk or Treat

Just wanted to say thank you all for helping at the Halloween Trunk or Treat! You guys are awesome and I am thankful for each of you. I will post some pictures later.

Fun in the Maze

What fun we had tonight! Thank you all for coming and being a part of our youth group. We have been praying for our church to grow but who knew ( well, ok, God knew) that He would grow our church through our youth group. You have more of an impact on our church than you know!

Again, thanks for bringing your friends so that they can share our fun and more important, learn about what an awesome God we serve.

Remember, He said He will be back, so be ready:)

Mission Project and Corn Maze

Mission Project and Corn Maze

This coming Wednesday, October 8, we will be meeting at the church at 6, which is 30 minutes earlier than normal, to go to the Power House and do some cleaning in and around the building. Power House is next to the hospital. We will be back at the church at 8.

We will be going to the corn maze on October 10. We will leave the church at 5. We will eat dinner at Dairy Queen and then go on to the maze. We will be back at church around 9. You will need to bring about $20. We are hoping to have enough folks to go to get a discount but I would rather you have enough if you decide to get a snack at the maze. I need to know by next Wednesday, Oct.8, if you are planning to go and if you are bringing a friend so that I have an accurate number that are going ; )

Read your Bible, stay in His will this week and remember.... He said He would be back, so be ready!
